Family Support Centre

The Family Support Centre is operated by the North Shore Schizophrenia Society. We offer personal support and education to families of the seriously mentally ill; information on major mental illnesses to the community at large; and advocacy on behalf of the seriously mentally ill and their families. Our programs include one-to-one peer counseling, support groups, the 1session Family to Family education program, the Partnership Program (in schools), Public Education Meetings at Lions Gate Hospital, participation in public awareness events, and recreational/social activities with psychiatric patients.
